Begonia Rex Red Heart is a small, busy houseplant with colourful, eye-catching foliage. Heart shaped leaves are in shades of blood red, with black centres and fading out to black around the edges. A much more ominous shade than many other house plants, this would be well suited especially for those who like a darker colour scheme.
Place Begonia Rex Red Heart in a humid environment, such as the kitchen or bathroom and place in a partially shaded area – this plant will not tolerate direct sunlight – and water little but often. This plant is very well suited to a terrarium, which will mimic its natural habitat.
