Aloe Vera leaves are freshly cut barbs containing an abundance of aloe vera gel, this naturally produced gel is mostly water-based and is used for a variety of cosmetic and medicinal purposes. It is often applied to the skin to moisturise and re-hydrate dry and damaged skin, fight acne, ease eczema and psoriasis, help soothe sunburns and has also shown to aid the healing of 2nd degree burns and small scrapes.
