Acer palmatum Redwine is a deciduous shrub with leaves that change colour throughout the seasons. In Spring, they emerge with a bronze tint that eventually turns to green with red tips in the same season. This colour is maintained right through to Autumn when it takes on an orange-red hue. This plant, which can be grown as a small tree, is a slow-growing variety that will reach an ultimate height of 1.5 - 2.5m and spread of 0.5 - 1m.
Acers can be cared for with relative ease. Plant in an area of partial shade and aim to avoid long periods of exposure to full sunlight. It can tolerate most soil types, requiring you keep it moist, well-drained and ensure watering is kept to a regular, consistent level.
Choose your preferred pot size - 9cm, 3L or 10L - from the selection menu. This is always subject to stock availability.
