Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Bushy evergreen shrub with ovate, dark green foliage and clusters of small, cream-white flowers from Winter into Spring.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 2 – 4m.
Period of Interest: Year-round foliage interest. Clusters of small, pink tinged, cream-white flowers from late Winter into Spring. Small blue-black berries in Autumn.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Keep in full or partial sun in a sheltered position. Tolerates shady positions. Protect from cold winds.
A dense, medium to large evergreen shrub providing beautiful contrasting hues and interesting Winter flowering as well as exciting colour all year. The Viburnum tinus or laurustinus is a lovely plant with oval, rich dark green leaves which serve as a nice backdrop to the rounded clusters on small, pink tinged buds in late Winter which open to cream-white, mildly fragrant flowers in Spring and Summer. The flowers are followed by small blue-black berries in the Autumn months
Plant in moderately fertile, moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Grows well in sun or shaded but a sheltered position is recommended to protect from cold, drying winds. Drought tolerant once established. A low maintenance and easy to manage shrub.
