Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Prunus 'Royal Burgundy' is an elegant species of deciduous ornamental tree. The tree will present zig-zag branches holding lush coppery red leaves when young - accompanied by petal white flowers with hints of pale pink during the Spring season. The flowers have a 1.5cm wide opening and are deeper pink in the middle. This tree could also produce edible fruits through the Autumn season.
Be sure to plant in fertile, well-drained clay or chalk soil and position in a sheltered, full sun location to give them the best opportunity to thrive. Due to the Prunus trees hardy and compact structure, they should be just fine through harsh weather conditions.
Once settled into their new environment, this prunus tree will become fairly low maintenance and need minimal pruning. Due to being deciduous, they require little or no pruning - Just clip away any uneven or extra-long branches if necessary. If planting in Spring or Summer, water well and regularly for the first few months. If planting in Autumn, little watering is required. Make sure not to over-hydrate and don't let the soil dry out during the warmer months.
Royal Burgundy trees are valued all year round for their vibrant display of colours and stunning zig-zag branches. Emerging in Spring with reddish-black foliage followed by small pink flowers through Summer - producing a very eye-catching ornamental tree for your garden. On occasions, this variety could produce edible fruits during the Autumn season.

Plant in well-drained, moist soils and position in full sun or partially shaded area. Once planted, monitor the area around for any competing weeds. Once this plant is established, it will require only a small amount of care as they are extremely hardy, tolerating poor soils as well as drought and hot or cold conditions.
