Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Upright, deciduous tree with incised, dark green foliage and pink-white flowers from early Spring.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 3 – 5m.
Period of Interest: Spring and Autumn interest. Pink-tinged white flowers appearing from early Spring. Warm Autumn foliage colours of red and orange.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Keep in full or partial sun. Tolerant of most soil types. Drought tolerant once established.
Prunus ‘Marie Mallet’ is a new variety of cherry tree with an upright habit and weeping branches which bear the rich, dark green foliage that is common of this species. Densely packed trusses of flowers appear in early Spring, sometimes even at the end of Winter and usually before much of the foliage has emerged. These lovely pink-tinged, white flowers appear in rich profusion all over the tree, bringing bright Spring colour to kick off the season.
Grows well in moist, fertile, well-drained soils and is best kept in full or partial sun. Tolerant of most soils as well as heat, drought and humidity once established.
