Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Bushy, deciduous tree with mid-green, serrated foliage and clusters of pale pink buds blooming into white flowers.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 6 – 8m.
Period of Interest: Spring and Autumn interest. Delicate pink buds in Spring blooming into white flowers throughout Spring. Bronze tinged foliage in Autumn.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Keep in full or partial sun. Summer pruning recommended.
A hardy and popular variety of Japanese Cherry trees, the Prunus incisa ‘Gotemba’ is a lovely plant with delicately coloured flowers and serrated or incised, rich green foliage providing a suitable backdrop to the clusters of small, pink buds that appear in the Spring which bloom into beautiful white flowers. The foliage remains dense throughout Summer and into the Autumn months, where its gains beautiful hues of bronze, red and orange. A great garden specimen tree.
