Product description

This six pack of Verbena Quartz Blue bedding plants will maintain a strong garden performance, creating slightly spreading and trailing, mounded plants with ovate to oblong leaves. Large domed clusters of bright blue flowers rise above their deep green textured foliage which is renowned for its significantly improved branching habit. Early-flowering, this variety provides brilliant colour from early spring to late autumn and looks splendid grown in containers, beds, hanging baskets and in mixed plantings.

Plant in well-drained soil and in full sun. Feed and water frequently throughout the summer to ensure an endless supply of flowers. Verbena flowers do not require dead heading.

Instructions

Top Tip

Deadhead spent flowers regularly to encourage a continuous flush of blooms. Feed fortnightly with a high-potash fertiliser to support extended flowering. Verbena are great for attracting pollinators and bring lasting colour to sunny garden spaces.

How to Water

Water regularly to keep the soil lightly moist, especially during dry spells. Verbena are moderately drought-tolerant once established but benefit from consistent moisture while actively growing and flowering. Ensure good drainage to prevent root problems.

How to Plant

Plant Verbena bedding plants in well-drained, fertile soil in full sun. These compact, spreading plants are perfect for borders, containers, or mixed displays, producing clusters of vibrant blooms that last through summer. Space plants 20–25cm apart to allow for healthy, bushy growth.
