Product description

As the name would suggest, this Sunshine in Blue Trio features sunny yellow Petunias in amongst masses of shocking blue Lobelias and lavender hued Verbenas. This eye-catching combination creates a striking effect that spills over the top of baskets and pots, producing an impressive focal point.

Flowering from early summer to the first frosts, the Sunshine in Blue Trio is a combination of low maintenance flowers that are easy to care for. The plants arrive in a single 13cm pot, ready to be displayed in your basket of choice. Plant in moist but well-draining soil and position your hanging basket in full sun. Water well when planting out then regularly throughout the growing season, particularly during dry spells.

Varieties included in this trio: Lobelia Glow Electric Blue, Petunia Ray Sunshine, and Verbena Vanessa Compact Lavender.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.

Instructions

Top Tip

Deadhead spent blooms and lightly trim back growth to maintain shape and promote continuous flowering. Feed every two weeks with a liquid fertiliser to keep all three varieties blooming strongly and evenly throughout the season.

How to Water

Water regularly to keep the compost evenly moist, especially in hot or windy weather. Baskets with multiple plants can dry out quickly, so check daily. Ensure good drainage to prevent soggy conditions and maintain healthy root systems across all varieties.

How to Plant

Plant Trio basket mixes in free-draining, quality compost and position in full sun or partial shade. Each Trio basket features a blend of three colour-coordinated varieties designed to grow together in perfect harmony, creating a balanced, full, and vibrant seasonal display.
