Product description
Known as the Prairie Mallow, 'Little Princess' is a charming, compact perennial that resembles a miniature hollyhock, producing upright spires of delicate, saucer-shaped, pale pink flowers. The blooms rise above neat clumps of rounded, lobed basal foliage, bringing a soft, structural elegance to the front of a herbaceous border.
It prefers a sunny position and requires fertile, consistently moist but well-drained soil to thrive. To prolong the delicate pink display, remove the faded flower spikes promptly; once the plant has completely finished flowering, cut it back to the basal foliage to maintain a tidy appearance.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Once the first round of upright flower spikes has finished blooming on the Sidalcea, cut the stalks all the way down to the basal rosette of leaves to encourage the plant to send up a second, smaller flush of flowers later in the season.
How to Water
Water Sidalcea deeply at the base, keeping the soil consistently moist but well-drained. It is less drought-tolerant than other mallows, so water 1–2 times weekly during dry spells to prevent the foliage from wilting.
How to Plant
Dig a hole in standard, well-drained garden loam and set the crown of the Sidalcea flush with the surface. It forms a neat, polite clump that won't run rampant, making it an easy companion to slot into the middle of a mixed herbaceous border.
