Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Give Saxifraga a spot with bright but gentle light, as it performs best with morning sun and soft daylight rather than intense afternoon heat.
How to Water
Water Saxifraga sparingly, giving it a light drink only when the top of the soil has fully dried out. Keep the moisture around the roots rather than over the crown, as Rockfoil prefers gentle, occasional watering without sitting in consistently wet soil.
How to Plant
Plant Saxifraga in a bright spot with free‑draining soil, setting each plant around 20-25cm apart so the rosettes have room to spread naturally. Position the crown just above the soil surface, firm the compost gently around the roots, and water lightly to help it settle in.
