Product description
Sanguisorba Pink Tanna is a wonderfully elegant Burnet, prized for its soft, bottlebrush blooms that sway gently above slender pink stems. Its airy, meadow inspired presence brings movement and lightness to any planting scheme, whether you’re refreshing a border or adding subtle height to a mixed display. The dusky pink flower heads boast pale pink stamens and appear through summer, offering a refined splash of colour that blends effortlessly with both contemporary and cottage style gardens.
Caring for Burnet is refreshingly simple. Plant it in a sunny or lightly shaded spot with moist, well drained soil, and it will settle in with ease, forming a neat clump that returns reliably year after year. Regular moisture during the growing season keeps the stems strong and the blooms plentiful, while a light trim of spent flowers helps maintain its graceful shape. With minimal fuss, Sanguisorba rewards you with long lasting texture, movement and charm throughout the warmer months.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Avoid burying the crown too deeply - Sanguisorba responds best when the top of the rootstock sits right at soil level, which prevents rot and encourages strong new shoots.
How to Water
Regular watering during the first growing season helps Burnet establish a strong root system and settle confidently into its new position. After that, occasional deep drinks during extended dry spells are enough to support healthy stems and a reliable flush of summer blooms.
How to Plant
Plant Sanguisorba with the crown level to the soil surface, leaving around 45-60cm between each plant so the clumps have room to develop their natural, airy shape. Firm the soil gently around the roots to ensure good contact, then finish with a light mulch to help stabilise the planting area as it establishes.
