Product description

Round Cabbage is one of the most popular varieties of cabbage worldwide. It is relatively easy to grow and has a crisp texture and sweet taste.

The densely packed leaves make round cabbage ideal for shredding to make coleslaw and sauerkraut. It also works well when stewed or boiled, and can be used as a side dish or added to hearty soups and stews. Cabbage is a great source of fibre and Vitamin C.

Round Cabbage thrives in vegetable garden beds and borders and is well suited to allotment growing.

This 8 cell tray is ready to be planted out in their final kitchen garden position.

Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.

Instructions

Top Tip

Cover brassica plants with fleece or netting to keep them safe from caterpillars and birds.

How to Water

Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, particularly during dry spells.

How to Plant

Choose a sunny spot and dig in plenty of organic matter before planting in firm, fertile, well-draining soil. Position so the plant’s lowest leaves are at ground level and be sure to firm the soil well.
