Product description
Rosemary 'Whitewater Silver' is a striking evergreen variety cultivated primarily for its distinctive, arching stems and foliage that flashes with bright silver undersides, resembling the spray of rushing water. While it possesses the classic, resinous pine scent and flavour of traditional rosemary, making it perfectly edible for roasting meats and potatoes, it is most often prized for its ornamental value. In spring, it produces masses of pale blue to white flowers that are highly attractive to bees, adding vibrant life to rockeries and walls.
This plant is typically grown as a spectacular, low-spreading ground cover or as a trailing "spiller" plant cascading over retaining walls and the edges of large containers. It is generally hardy but requires excellent drainage to survive wet winters. For the best results and densest silver growth, plant it in a location with full sun. It is highly drought-tolerant once established and thrives in poor, gritty soil, suffering quickly if placed in heavy, waterlogged ground.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only - The plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Instructions
Top Tip
To keep the silver foliage lush and prevent the centre from becoming bare and woody, give Rosemary 'Whitewater Silver' a light trim immediately after it finishes flowering. However, take care never to cut back into the old, leafless brown wood, as the plant cannot regrow from these parts.
How to Water
Water young Rosemary 'Whitewater Silver' plants regularly during their first season to settle the roots. Once established, this plant is incredibly drought-tolerant; only water when the soil is completely dry, as it resents soggy roots and excessive moisture.
How to Plant
Select a warm, sunny spot with sharp drainage, digging in horticultural grit if growing in heavy soil. Plant Rosemary 'Whitewater Silver' near the edge of a wall, raised bed, or tall container where its arching stems can cascade freely, ensuring the root ball sits slightly higher than the soil surface to prevent stem rot.
