Product description
The Rosemary 6 Pack Mix provides a collection of robust plants cultivated primarily for the intense, pine-like aroma found in their needle-like leaves. This potent savoury flavour, which is essential for many Mediterranean dishes, is released by chopping the fresh leaves or roasting them with food. It is traditionally used as the ultimate seasoning for roast lamb, potatoes, and breads, though the woody stems can also be used as barbecue skewers to infuse flavour directly into meats.
These plants are typically grown as hardy, evergreen shrubs that can be planted in a row to form a fragrant low hedge or distributed individually in pots. They are tough and cold-tolerant once established, providing year-round structure. For the best results and strongest oil production, plant them in a location with full sun. They are highly drought-tolerant and must have gritty, well-drained soil, as they will suffer quickly if planted in heavy clay that stays wet.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only - The plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Harvest the tips of your Rosemary plants often! Regular pinching or snipping for cooking encourages the plants to bush out, preventing them from becoming "leggy" or woody at the base.
How to Water
Water Rosemary plants sparingly. While young plugs from a 6-pack need initial moisture to establish their roots, mature rosemary prefers to dry out between waterings and hates "wet feet."
How to Plant
Plant this Rosemary Mix into soil that has been amended with horticultural grit or gravel to improve drainage. If creating a hedge, space the plants about 45cm apart to allow for airflow as they grow.
