Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Deadhead individual plants regularly and trim back any leggy growth to maintain shape and encourage new blooms. A fortnightly liquid feed helps extend flowering and keeps the colours vibrant throughout the season.
How to Water
Water consistently to keep the compost evenly moist, especially during warm or breezy weather. Check baskets daily, as mixed arrangements can dry out quickly. Ensure good drainage to avoid soggy conditions that could affect root health.
How to Plant
Plant Rose Shades basket mixes in free-draining compost and position in a sunny to partially shaded spot. These carefully selected trailing and upright plants bloom in soft pinks, deep rose tones, and blush reds, creating a balanced, romantic display ideal for hanging baskets or window boxes.
