Rootgrow Basket & Container Starter biscuits are specifically designed to give plants the best possible start in pots, hanging baskets, and containers. They are made with the UK's native mycorrhizal fungi, beneficial micro-organisms with which the vast majority of plants—including annuals, perennials, and shrubs—share a natural symbiotic relationship. Once the roots are in contact with the biscuit, the fungi develop a highly-active secondary root system with the explicit purpose of dramatically increasing the uptake of water and nutrients. This is vital for helping plants flourish in the limited and often stressful environment of a container.

The application rate for Rootgrow Basket & Container biscuits is simple and depends on the size of your pot. For smaller containers up to 3L, a single biscuit is perfect. Use two biscuits for pots up to 7L, three to four for those up to 15L, and four or more for very large containers. To apply, simply place the required number of biscuits at the bottom of the planting hole so the plant's roots are in direct contact.
