Product description
Picea pungens glauca, the Colorado Blue Spruce, is a classic evergreen conifer, prized for its strong architectural form and stunning foliage colour. Its main display comes from its stiff, sharp needles which have an intense and beautiful silvery-blue colour that provides a year-round focal point. It creates a superb, formal specimen that brings colour, texture, and a strong conical shape to the landscape.
Picea pungens 'Glauca' is a very low-maintenance conifer, but its siting is the key to its spectacular colour. For the most intense and brilliant silvery-blue needle colour, it absolutely requires a position in full, open sun. It is tolerant of most well-drained soil types and does not need a particularly fertile spot to thrive. Unlike shrubs that are regularly clipped, this Blue Spruce needs absolutely no pruning.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.
