Instructions

Top Tip

Avoid pruning in autumn, as recently cut stems could be susceptible to frost damage. Instead, lightly prune annually in spring or early summer.

How to Water

Water Photinia regularly for the first year or two until it is fully established, after which it is relatively drought tolerant and only needs to be watered during particularly dry spells.

How to Plant

Choose a spot in full sun or partial shade and dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball. Add some well-rotted organic matter to the site and plant Photinia in moist but-well-draining soil.
