Product description

This six pack of Petunia F1 Frenzy Blue Vein bedding plants contains a variety renowned for its ability to resist inclement weather and its abundant display of large, creamy lavender flowers with deeper blue-purple veins running from the centres. With their compact, low-growing, bushy habit with good branching qualities, you will find these Petunias perfect planted in patio containers or laid out in your beds and borders. This easy to grow variety is incredibly long-flowering and will keep on blooming from summer to autumn, creating spectacular feature areas to be admired all season long.

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil and in full sun or part-shade. Feed and water petunia plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Petunias bloom longer and stronger when old blossoms and seed capsules are snipped off every week or so.

Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.

Instructions

Top Tip

Deadhead faded blooms and pinch back straggly stems to promote fresh growth and longer flowering. Feed every two weeks with a high-potash fertiliser to keep the display full, bright, and blooming all season long.

How to Water

Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, especially during hot or windy conditions. Petunias in containers may need daily watering in summer. Avoid overwatering or letting the soil completely dry out, and ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.

How to Plant

Plant Petunia bedding plants in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered location. These colourful, mound-forming plants are ideal for borders, containers, and mass displays. Space plants 20–30cm apart to give them room to spread and create a carpet of vibrant blooms.
