The flowers open up in late afternoon and are on fragrant display all evening so make sure to plant some in your window boxes as their fragrance can waft in through an open window.

Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming and keep plants tidy. Nicotiana are especially fragrant in the evening, making them perfect for planting near seating areas or pathways where their scent can be enjoyed on summer nights.
How to Water
Water regularly to keep soil lightly moist, especially during dry or warm spells. Nicotiana prefer consistent moisture but will not tolerate waterlogged roots. In containers, ensure proper drainage and monitor moisture daily in hot weather.
How to Plant
Plant Nicotiana bedding plants in well-drained, fertile soil in a sunny or partially shaded location. These upright plants produce clusters of tubular, star-shaped flowers with a sweet evening scent, ideal for borders, containers, and cottage-style bedding schemes.
