Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Deadhead spent blooms frequently to encourage continuous flowering and keep the display looking fresh. Marigolds are easy to grow, pest-resistant, and ideal for adding rich orange and yellow tones to summer bedding schemes.
How to Water
Water regularly, especially during dry spells, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Marigolds are fairly drought-tolerant but will perform best with consistent moisture. Avoid overhead watering to prevent marking the petals and foliage.
How to Plant
Plant Marigold bedding plants in well-drained, fertile soil in a sunny location. These bold, bushy plants are perfect for borders, containers, or mass planting, with vibrant flowers that bring long-lasting colour. Space plants 20–30cm apart to allow airflow and even growth.
