Product description
This six pack of Lobelia Fountain White bedding plants will bring an elegant touch of bright colour to your garden. These stunning annuals, with their popular trailing and compact habits, have small, dark green leaves and grow cascades of pretty miniature white blooms. The flowers are produced from summer to autumn and are often permanent summer fixtures in beautiful hanging baskets and patio container displays. The Lobelia 'Fountain' series has been specifically bred to grow larger flowers supported by broader-leaved foliage to more generously fill hanging baskets, containers and window boxes.
Grow in deep, fertile, reliably moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part-shade. Apply a balanced fertiliser preferably every two weeks.
Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Trim back lightly after the first flush of blooms to encourage fresh growth and continued flowering. Lobelia adds delicate texture and vibrant colour to summer displays and is especially effective when mass planted or combined with other bedding favourites.
How to Water
Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry or windy weather. Lobelia has shallow roots and can dry out quickly, particularly in pots and hanging baskets. Avoid overwatering, but don’t allow the soil to become completely dry.
How to Plant
Plant Lobelia bedding plants in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded position. These low-growing, spreading plants are perfect for borders, containers, and edging displays, offering a cloud of tiny flowers. Space plants 10–15cm apart to allow for full, even coverage.
