Product description
'Madonna' is a highly uniform and compact variety of Shasta Daisy, bred specifically for its neat habit and impressive flower power. It forms a tidy mound of dark foliage that becomes completely smothered in classic, pure white daisies with bright golden-yellow centres, offering a clean, traditional aesthetic.
This resilient plant is highly adaptable but insists on excellent drainage, as sitting in cold, wet soil can easily rot its crown. Position it in full sun, water moderately, and divide the clumps every three to four years to keep the plant vigorous and flowering heavily.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
For the Leucanthemum Madonna, snip off the dead flower heads down to the next lateral bud throughout the summer; this stops the plant from wasting energy on making seeds and forces it to push out another flush of blooms.
How to Water
Leucanthemum (Shasta Daisies) prefer consistently moist, well-drained soil. Water deeply when the top inch of soil feels dry. Target the base to avoid leaf spot; once established, they are drought-tolerant but bloom best with regular hydration.
How to Plant
Select a spot with rich, well-draining loam and dig a hole just deep enough to keep the crown of the daisy flush with the soil line. As Leucanthemum are fast-growing clumpers, give them at least 18 inches of breathing room from their neighbors so they have space to bush out.
