Product description
Lamium Sterling Silver is a beautifully compact perennial that brings brightness to shaded areas with its striking, green-edged, silver leaves and vivid purple-pink flowers. Its spreading, ground hugging habit creates a soft carpet of colour and texture, making it perfect for edging paths, filling awkward corners, or adding gentle contrast beneath shrubs and taller perennials. The combination of metallic foliage and vibrant pink blooms gives it a standout presence from late spring into mid summer, while its semi-evergreen leaves keep the display going all year.
Low maintenance and wonderfully adaptable, this Dead-Nettle variety thrives in full or partial shade and moist, well drained soil. Once settled, it needs very little attention beyond occasional trimming to keep its shape neat and encourage fresh growth. It performs reliably in borders, containers, and woodland style plantings, returning year after year with dependable colour and effortless charm.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Avoid overfeeding Dead-Nettle: too much fertiliser encourages floppy growth, so a light compost top‑up in spring is enough.
How to Water
Water Lamium regularly during its first few weeks to help it establish, keeping the soil lightly moist but never waterlogged. Once settled, it only needs watering in dry spells, as its evergreen foliage copes well with short periods of drought.
How to Plant
Plant Lamium in partial shade, setting it at the same depth as it was in its pot and spacing plants around 25-30cm apart. Water well after planting and allow it to settle into moist, well‑drained soil where it can spread gently over time.
