Product description
This six pack of Impatiens Beacon mix bedding plants will create a dazzling theme with its mix of vibrant colour shades. One of the gardener's favourite plants, commonly known as Busy Lizzies, grow out of bushy, spreading mounds and show off their stunning colourful blooms from spring to frost. Easy to grow and incredibly free flowering, they will perform well in baskets, window boxes, patio containers and flower beds in shaded areas. This fabulous long-awaited and brand-new Impatiens Beacon range has been bred to have high resistance to downy mildew disease which affected these plants in the past.
Plant in moist, well-drained, moderately fertile soil in full sun or part-shade and feed regularly through the summer. Impatiens do not need to be deadheaded as they will self-clean their spent blooms.

Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Deadhead occasionally to keep plants tidy, although many varieties are self-cleaning. Feed every two weeks with a balanced fertiliser to encourage lush growth and non-stop flowering in shady spots throughout the summer.
How to Water
Water regularly to maintain moist soil, especially during dry spells. Impatiens are thirsty plants and benefit from consistent moisture but dislike sitting in soggy soil, so ensure good drainage. Container-grown plants may need daily watering in warm weather.
How to Plant
Plant Impatiens bedding plants in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in partial or full shade. These compact, bushy plants are perfect for shaded borders, containers, and underplanting, bringing dense colour where sun-loving plants may struggle. Space them 20–25cm apart for a seamless display.
