Product description
Rosemary 'Majorcan Pink' is a popular perennial herb, famously prized for its unusual and attractive pink flowers, which set it apart from the more common blue-flowered varieties. The primary part used for its culinary value is its aromatic, needle-like leaves, which provide a classic, robust, and piney rosemary flavour essential for roasting and seasoning. However, its edibility doesn't stop there; the attractive pink flowers are also edible and make a beautiful, fragrant garnish for salads, desserts, and drinks.
When it comes to planting and maintenance, this is an easy-to-grow, evergreen shrub, but it has very specific, non-negotiable requirements. It is extremely fussy about its light conditions and absolutely must have a location in full, direct sun to thrive. The main requirement for it to grow well is providing it with soil that is exceptionally well-drained, as it strongly dislikes "wet feet" and is very drought-tolerant once established. As an added benefit to the garden, its attractive pink flowers are known to be a major favourite of bees and other pollinators.

Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
The pale pink flowers of Rosemary 'Majorcan Pink' can look washed out against grey concrete, so plant it near terracotta or dark brick to make the bloom colour pop. Unlike upright varieties, the arching branches can be pegged down into the soil to root, allowing you to create new plants easily.
How to Water
Rosemary 'Majorcan Pink' needs free-draining soil and should only be watered when the compost feels dry to the touch. Avoid letting it sit in a saucer of water, as this tender variety hates "wet feet."
How to Plant
Plant Rosemary 'Majorcan Pink' in a sheltered, sunny spot with very free-draining soil, protecting it from cold, wet winds. Ensure the root ball is level with the surface and grit is added to the planting hole to stop the roots sitting in damp soil.
