Product description
Soft silver foliage and cheerful yellow flowers make Helichrysum angustifolium, commonly known as the Curry Plant, a lovely addition to baskets, containers, and patio displays. Supplied as a pack of 6 basket plants in a convenient carry pack, this evergreen perennial forms a neat, gently spreading plant with narrow grey-green leaves that provide texture and contrast throughout the year. During summer, clusters of small golden-yellow flowers appear above the foliage, adding a warm splash of colour and attracting pollinating insects to the garden.
The Curry Plant is particularly valued for its aromatic leaves, which release a distinctive curry-like scent when brushed or handled. It enjoys a sunny position and free-draining compost, making it an excellent choice for baskets that receive plenty of light. Water regularly while the plants are becoming established, then allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings, as mature plants cope well with drier conditions. A light trim after flowering will help keep the plants compact and encourage fresh silvery growth, maintaining a neat shape and promoting healthy foliage.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
As Curry Plant matures, some older stems can become woody and produce less fresh growth. Removing these stems helps encourage new shoots from the base of the plant, while maintaining a fuller, bushier shape that works well in a basket display.
How to Water
Water Curry Plant regularly after planting and during dry spells while the roots are establishing, allowing the compost to dry slightly between waterings. Once established, it is naturally tolerant of drier conditions, so avoid overwatering and ensure excess moisture can drain away freely.
How to Plant
For a healthy basket display, use a good quality, free-draining compost and position Curry Plant evenly to allow its naturally spreading habit to develop. Set each plant at the same depth it was growing in the carry pack, firm the compost gently around the roots, and water well after planting to help it settle in.
