Hebe 'Margret' is a lovely dwarf evergreen shrub, growing compact and rounded making it a versatile choice for the garden. This small, adaptable plant carries shiny, bright green leaves and small clusters of sky-blue flowers which appear during the Summer months, while sometimes returning for a second bloom around the beginning of Autumn. The flowers fade to white with age creating a subtle two-tone effect among the flowers.
Plant in moist, well-drained, poor or moderately fertile soil and keep in full or partial sun. A low maintenance shrub that tolerate city pollution and therefore makes a good specimen plant in more urban areas.

The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Prune lightly after flowering to encourage bushy growth and maintain the plant’s shape. Avoid heavy pruning, as Hebes may struggle to regrow from older wood.
How to Water
Water Hebe thoroughly after planting, then keep the soil evenly moist during the first season. Once established, they are drought-tolerant and require only occasional watering during dry periods.
How to Plant
Plant Hebe in well-draining soil in a sunny or lightly shaded spot, sheltered from strong winds. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball, place the plant at the same depth it was in its pot, and backfill with soil. Space plants 60-90cm apart for full growth.
