Product description
Epimedium Pretty in Pink is a tough, highly resilient woodland survivor that slowly creeps across the forest floor via underground rhizomes. It is cherished for its delicate, two-toned rose-pink and white flowers that dance on wiry stems above mid-green leaves that flush beautifully with copper-red colour in the spring and autumn.
You must mimic its natural habitat by planting it in dappled or full shade using dirt heavily amended with rich, decaying leaf mould. While it becomes incredibly tolerant of dry shade once established, providing it with consistent, normal moisture will significantly speed up its spreading habit and overall vigour.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Shear off the tattered, old foliage of Epimedium Pretty in Pink right down to the ground just before the new flower stems emerge so the intricate blooms are perfectly visible.
How to Water
Maintain an even, consistent level of moisture while Epimedium Pretty in Pink is actively pushing out new leaves and delicate blooms. Once highly established, they become surprisingly tolerant of dry shade, but they perform absolute best when the dirt is never allowed to bake solid. Water deeply at the root zone rather than spraying the decorative foliage.
How to Plant
Settle Epimedium Pretty in Pink into dappled or full shade, amending the soil heavily with rich leaf mould. Plant the creeping rhizomes just below the surface, perfectly mimicking the loose, decaying top layer of a forest floor. Give them plenty of room to slowly march outward and establish their highly resilient, creeping colonies.
