Product description
Digitalis Panther, commonly known as Foxglove is a gorgeous, very showy perennial plant. It has a free-flowering habit and produces an array of very sterile flowers when they bloom in Summer. Each bloom is bell-shaped, featuring a vibrant mix of pink and white. The inner part of the flowerheads have a striking, spotted pattern that highlights the perfect contrast between it and the dark green foliage at its base.
Growing to an ultimate height of 0.6m and spread of 0.5m, this Digitalis will be the perfect fit for most areas of the garden. They are low maintenance plants that will grow well in full sunlight or partial shade. It will tolerate most soil types but prefers fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Watering should take place regularly, although overly dry or waterlogged soil should be avoided.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. This plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.
