Product description
This six pack of Dianthus F1 Corona Raspberry Magic bedding plants contains upright and bushy plants with narrowly lance-shaped, dark green leaves with pretty fringed pink flowers fading to dark red eyes. The blooms of this wonderful variety are the largest of any dianthus type and are renowned for their very long flowering season from June to October. They are perfect for creating long-lasting, colourful displays and will produce masses of flowers which look equally stunning in borders, bedding areas and patio containers or even paired with other contrasting shades of bedding plants.
Plant in full to partial sun and in moist, well-drained, fertile soil. Avoid soggy conditions and overwatering. Regular removal of faded flower stems encourages continued flowering.
Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Deadhead spent flowers frequently to prolong blooming and encourage new buds. Dianthus F1 plants are known for their neat habit, sweet scent, and vivid colours—perfect for adding fragrance and structure to summer bedding displays.
How to Water
Water regularly to keep the soil lightly moist, particularly during warm spells or in containers. Avoid overwatering, as Dianthus dislike soggy soil. Water at the base to prevent damp foliage, which can lead to mildew or rot in humid conditions.
How to Plant
Plant Dianthus F1 bedding varieties in well-drained, moderately fertile soil in a sunny location. These compact, floriferous plants are ideal for borders, containers, or edging displays. Space them about 15–20cm apart to allow air circulation and even growth.
