They continue to form masses of large blooms on upright, bushy mounds with narrowly lance-shaped, green leaves. They have long been established for their colourful and easy to grow qualities, making them the highlight of summer gardens. The long-flowering blooms appear from June through to October and create startling displays in patio containers, borders or even hanging baskets.
Plant in full to partial sun and in moist, well-drained, fertile soil. Avoid soggy conditions and overwatering. Regular removal of faded flower stems encourages continued flowering.
