Product description
Delphinium Strawberry Fair is a towering giant that breaks the traditional blue mould of its family by offering a highly unusual, vibrant mulberry-pink floral display. It is a fast-growing, heavy-feeding herbaceous perennial that dies completely back to the soil line while dormant, only to explode upward into a massive structural anchor during its growing season.
To keep it alive, you must place it in full sun, feed it generously with rich organic matter, and provide a highly reliable, steady supply of water directed strictly at the base to keep the foliage dry and disease-free. Aggressively defend the newly emerging shoots from slugs and snails in the spring, which will decimate the plant overnight if left unchecked.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Instructions
Top Tip
Relentlessly hunt for slugs and snails around the base of Delphinium Strawberry Fair when the fresh, tender shoots first emerge from the dirt.
How to Water
Maintain a strict, highly reliable watering schedule so the dirt around Delphinium Strawberry Fair remains consistently moist but never waterlogged. The massive mulberry-pink blooms require a massive amount of water to properly form and open. Always water at ground level to stop fungal spores from splashing up onto the lower leaves.
How to Plant
Settle the root ball of Delphinium Strawberry Fair into a deep, nutrient-dense hole in a border that receives plenty of direct sunlight. Ensure the surrounding earth is loose and friable so the clumping roots can easily establish a firm anchor. Keep it well protected from any prevailing winds that could easily decimate its tall structure.
