Product description
Delphinium Moonbeam is a towering, elegant herbaceous perennial that acts as a structural giant in the classic cottage garden border. It rapidly pushes up deeply lobed, mid-green foliage before launching massive, 1.5-metre floral spikes tightly packed with immaculate, icy pure-white flowers featuring white central bees.
To keep it alive, you must satisfy its massive appetite by planting it in deep, nutrient-rich loam that is kept consistently moist but never waterlogged. Because the towering, hollow stems are incredibly brittle, you must tie them securely to hidden stakes early in their growth cycle and position them well away from strong, prevailing winds.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Instructions
Top Tip
Push discrete, heavy-duty support rings deep into the earth early in the growing cycle before Delphinium Moonbeam gets too heavy and snaps.
How to Water
Provide consistent, even moisture directly to the base of Delphinium Moonbeam to fuel the massive icy-white flowering spikes. Do not let the roots dry out entirely, but ensure the earth drains well enough to avoid creating a stagnant puddle. Always aim your hose strictly at the dirt to keep the deeply divided foliage dry and disease-free.
How to Plant
Dig a deep hole in rich, fertile loam and mix in plenty of compost to support the explosive upward growth of Delphinium Moonbeam. Position the crown exactly at soil level in a spot completely sheltered from strong winds to protect the fragile stems. Space them adequately away from other large plants to ensure excellent airflow and prevent powdery mildew.
