Product description
Cyclamen Album is an elegant, slow-spreading woodland tuber that delivers pristine pure white flowers with distinctive swept-back petals, brilliantly illuminating dark, shaded winter corners. The highly decorative, heart-shaped dark green leaves are heavily splashed with striking silver marbling, ensuring the plant looks spectacular and provides vital early nectar even before the icy-white buds open.
It actively demands highly protected, cool environments and must be sited away from harsh, direct midday sunlight. Bury the delicate tuber extremely shallowly, ensuring the top is barely covered by a thin layer of soil and leaf litter. Provide steady, reliable moisture during its active winter growth, but strictly withhold all water when the marbled foliage entirely disappears in the heat. Let the spent flowers naturally drop their seeds to effortlessly naturalise the colony over time.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Grouping Cyclamen Album together with dark-leaved evergreens creates a brilliant, high-contrast display when the rest of the garden is asleep. Let the spent white flowers curl naturally downward to drop their seeds straight into the surrounding earth. Over time, this hands-off approach allows the colony to slowly naturalise and spread its icy white beauty across your entire woodland floor.
How to Water
Water the area delicately to settle the dirt around Cyclamen Album without accidentally washing the shallow tuber right out of the ground. Provide steady, reliable moisture from the start of its growing cycle through to the end of its active blooming phase. Once the marbled foliage entirely disappears, strictly withhold all water to keep the dormant plant perfectly safe.
How to Plant
Plant the delicate tuber of Cyclamen Album in a highly protected, north-facing spot where it will never experience harsh, direct midday sunlight. Work plenty of organic compost into the planting pocket to give the roots the loose, highly penetrable earth they require. Bury it very shallowly, ensuring the top is barely covered by a thin layer of soil and leaf litter.
