Product description
Campanula Loddon Anna is a towering milky bellflower that delivers quintessential, highly romantic English cottage garden charm. It pushes up impressive, tall upright stems heavily laden with soft, pale pink bell-shaped flowers, adding spectacular vertical height and elegant structure to the back of mixed borders while providing a highly accessible nectar source for solitary bees.
Due to its impressive height and vigorous clumping habit, it performs absolutely best in deep, crumbly loam that holds consistent, even moisture. It actively appreciates gentle morning sunlight combined with dappled, cooling afternoon shade. You must push discrete support rings into the earth early in the season to stop the tall stems from flopping over, and regularly deadhead the spent pink blossoms to trigger a rewarding secondary flush of colour.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Due to its impressive height, Campanula Loddon Anna greatly benefits from subtle staking before it reaches full size. Push a discrete support ring into the earth around the stems before they get too tall and heavy. Deadheading the pale pink blooms regularly will push the plant to produce a second, smaller flush of flowers.
How to Water
Flood the soil upon planting to ensure Campanula Loddon Anna settles in without suffering from transplant shock. Keep the earth consistently moist like a wrung-out sponge, but never let it become a stagnant puddle. Direct your watering strictly at the soil line to prevent fungal issues taking hold on the lush leaves.
How to Plant
Plant Campanula Loddon Anna in a border that offers rich, crumbly loam and gentle morning sunlight. Dig a generous hole so the vigorous root system has plenty of lateral room to expand. Firm the earth down nicely around the base to support the tall, upright stems it will eventually produce.
