Product description
Sweet Pea Dwarf is a biological marvel that delivers the full-sized flowers and intense, room-filling fragrance of traditional climbing sweet peas on a genetically compact, non-climbing bush. Forming a neat, congested mound that stays well under 30cm in height, it spills gently over the edges of window boxes, patio troughs, and raised planters. It completely eliminates the need for stringing up trellises or building cane wigwams, bringing the ultimate sweet pea experience right down to eye and nose level.
Despite its smaller stature, this variety shares the exact same voracious appetite for water and nutrients as its giant climbing cousins. Place it in full sun and use a premium, moisture-holding multi-purpose compost, checking the soil daily to ensure the wind hasn't baked the container dry. Keep the plants deadheaded diligently to encourage a continuous carpet of highly scented white, pink, red, and lavender blossoms straight through the summer.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Sweet Pea Dwarf is the perfect choice for creating a "scented carpet" effect on your patio. Plant them in window boxes where you can enjoy the fragrance every time you open the window for fresh air.
How to Water
Even though they are small, Sweet Pea Dwarf plants still need to stay consistently damp to thrive. Check hanging baskets daily, as the wind can dry them out much faster than ground-planted pots. Consistency is the key to a long, successful flowering season.
How to Plant
Use Sweet Pea Dwarf as a colourful filler for the front of a border or the edge of a hanging basket. These don't need a trellis as they form a tidy, self-supporting mound of flowers. Plant them in a high-quality, multi-purpose potting compost.
