Product description
Nasturtium Jewel Mix is an absolute garden workhorse, bred specifically to produce a dense, upright-bushy mound loaded with semi-double flowers in brilliant scarlet, yellow, orange, and mahogany. Lacking the wild, wandering vines of older varieties, it stays perfectly contained within its designated footprint while delivering solid, reliable colour straight through the hottest months of the year. It is highly attractive to foraging bumblebees while naturally repelling several unwanted garden pests.
This is the ultimate plant for difficult, sun-baked garden zones with thin, poor soil where other bedding varieties would quickly starve. To achieve the classic "Jewel" display, withhold all plant food and water only when the foliage shows the very first signs of minor wilting. Ensure your containers have large, unobstructed drainage holes, as sitting in stagnant winter or spring water is the only thing that will kill this rugged variety.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
To encourage the Nasturtium Jewel Mix to bloom continuously, avoid using any fertiliser at all. The stress of poor, lean soil is exactly what triggers this plant to produce its best and most vibrant flowers.
How to Water
The Nasturtium Jewel Mix is very low-maintenance when it comes to moisture levels. It prefers a drier root run and will tolerate occasional missed waterings without complaining. Ensure your pots have plenty of drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.
How to Plant
Plant Nasturtium Jewel Mix in a sunny, exposed spot where its bright primary colours can truly shine. These are perfect for "difficult" areas with poor soil where other basket plants might struggle. They form a neat, bushy mound that requires very little space.
