Product description

Calibrachoa Red are compact, trailing bedding plants that produce masses of small, trumpet-shaped blooms. These create a dense waterfall of colour, making them the perfect flowers for hanging baskets, mixed containers, and patio pots. Also known as Million Bells, these versatile bedding plants garden ready come in a handy 6 plant carry pack, perfect for planting straight into a hanging plant pot, hanging basket, or larger container display.

Thriving in a sunny spot with well drained compost, Calibrachoa makes excellent plants for patio and is a reliable choice for hanging baskets outdoor through the warmer months. Keep Million Bells happy by watering regularly, allowing excess water to drain, and feeding every couple of weeks during active growth. With simple care, they’ll flower continuously and keep your summer displays looking full and fresh all season long.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.

Instructions

Top Tip

Calibrachoa naturally leans toward the light, so rotating your hanging basket every few days helps the plant grow evenly on all sides. A simple quarter‑turn now and then prevents one side becoming sparse and keeps the whole display looking full and balanced.

How to Water

Water Calibrachoa regularly to keep the compost lightly moist, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings so the roots never sit in soggy soil. In warm weather, check baskets and pots daily, as they can dry out quickly, and give a thorough soak whenever the compost feels dry to the touch.

How to Plant

Calibrachoa is best planted around 20-25cm apart, giving each plant enough room to trail and fill out without overcrowding. Use fresh, free‑draining compost, tuck each plant in at the same depth it was growing in the tray, firm gently around the roots, and water well to help them settle.
