Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Choose a wider container rather than a deep one, as Calibrachoa’s roots tend to spread outward instead of growing straight down. Giving it that extra horizontal space encourages a fuller, more balanced display with a better overall shape.
How to Water
Water Calibrachoa often enough to keep the compost lightly moist, allowing the top layer to dry a little between each soak. In warm weather or when grown in baskets, check it more frequently, as Million Bells can dry out faster when its blooms are at their peak.
How to Plant
Plant Calibrachoa into fresh, free‑draining compost, setting each plant at the same depth as its original pot. Give the trailing stems space to spill naturally over the edges of baskets or containers, and choose a bright, sheltered spot where the plant can settle in and start producing its first flush of blooms.
