Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Trim Mugwort lightly in spring to encourage a neat, bushy shape. However, it's best to avoid cutting into old, woody stems as they don’t regrow well.
How to Water
Water Mugwort sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings, as it dislikes sitting in moisture. Once established, it only needs occasional watering during prolonged dry spells, making it a very low‑maintenance addition to sunny, well‑drained spots.
How to Plant
Plant Artemisia in a sunny spot with light, free‑draining soil, spacing plants 60-75cm apart so they have room to form their natural, airy shape. Water well after planting, then allow the soil to dry between waterings to help it settle and thrive in its new position.
