Product description
This charming mix of double flowered Alcea plants brings a wonderful sense of height, colour and movement to the garden. Each plant sends up tall, elegant spires packed with richly ruffled blooms in a blend of soft and vibrant shades, creating a striking vertical display that lifts borders, beds, and patio containers with ease.
These Hollyhock perennials are wonderfully easy to grow, thriving best in a sunny spot with well drained soil. Water regularly while they establish, then reduce watering once they’re settled. A little support can be helpful in breezier areas, and removing faded blooms will encourage even more flowers through the season. With just a touch of simple care, this mix will reward you with a generous summer display and a beautifully natural presence in the garden.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves. Collections or 'mixed' listings for plants will be selected dependant on availability and carefully hand-picked to ensure their quality.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Remove faded blooms to encourage fresh flowers and keep the plants looking their best.
How to Water
Water Hollyhocks regularly while they settles into their new position, keeping the soil lightly moist but never waterlogged. Once established, allow the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings, giving a deeper soak during warm, dry spells.
How to Plant
Plant Alcea in a sunny spot with well‑drained soil, spacing each one so the tall flower spikes have room to develop. Dig a hole slightly larger than the rootball, set the plant in at the same depth it was growing in its pot, then backfill and water well to help it settle in.
