• Characteristics: Evergreen shrub with small, dark green leaves, that are a deep red when they're young. The shrub is brightly coloured with dark pink flower buds in winter, which open to very pale pink flowers in spring.
• Growth and Spread: Will reach an ultimate height and spread of 0.5 to 1 metre.
• Period of Interest: Although the foliage lasts all year round, the flower buds appear in winter and open up in spring.
• Plant Advice: Grows best in full sun or partial shade, in well drained, moist soil. The shrub is low maintenance and hardy.

This stunning evergreen shrub has dark red foliage when young, that turns dark green as it matures. The dark pink flower buds appear in winter, and bloom very pale pink to white in spring. They grow best in borders and beds, or as a container plant.

The shrub enjoys full sun or partial shade and grows best in moist, well drained soil.
