Characteristics: Compact-sized, deciduous rounded Magnolia shrub with striking pink buds and large white flowers. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Supplied in a 7.5L Pot, measuring 4-5ft in height including the pot.
Growth and Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 3m.
Care and Maintenance: Your Magnolia will thrive in full sun or dappled shade. Plant in well-drained soil composed of Clay, Loam or Sand.
Period of Interest: Large flowers from March through to May.
Magnolia Royal Star is a charming Magnolia cultivar with a rounded habit and a compact stature, reaching up to 3 meters tall and wide.
Its pretty, pale pink buds will open in early spring to masses of huge, pure white flowers measuring around 12cm in width. The blossoms will flaunt up to 30 narrow tepals each and create a beautiful focal point for any home garden, city garden or front garden.
Recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit for its reliability, resilience, attractive appearance and consistent performance, this smaller Magnolia variety is also more robust and faster growing than most other cultivars and can bloom up to 10 days earlier.
