Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.

Lavatera Rosea is referred to as a sub-shrub with an approximate size of 2 metres all around. It has palmately-lobed leaves of a grey-green colour.
In the mid-summer to autumn, brilliant pink flowers, approximately 7-9 cm, bloom in abundance. The large, attractive flowers, although without any real fragrance, attract various pollinators, including bees and hummingbirds.
With full sun, it grows well in areas like borders and also in informal garden areas which appear like natural, wildflower settings. It is a hardy plant and can handle temperatures from -10⁰ to -15⁰ C, but sheltered positions are recommended.
This plant is similar to others in the Lavatera group, as once it is established, it does well in low moisture areas and can tolerate drought to a certain extent. Heavy pruning down to about 30 cm is advisable in the late spring in order to encourage the growth of new flowering stems.
With a lengthy growing season, this plant will delight you in whatever particular setting you choose for it. A heavy yearly pruning is encouraged. As it is a fast grower and should be pruned before the onset of any severe weather, otherwise winds and rainfall may cause the plant to topple in on itself.
