Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Low growing evergreen confier, bright blue/green foliage in summer, greyish in winter
Height & Spread: Grows to 0.5m tall while spreading to around 2.5m wide
Juniperus squamata 'Blue Carpet' is a compact low growing prostrate evergreen conifer. Fast growing, this variety can create a very handsome looking ground cover, it's distinctive horizontal sprays of attractive needle-like foliage are silvery blue during the summer, before changing to a more pronounced greyish colour during winter. This plant is extremely hardy and is suited to a variety of difficult conditions such as harsh cold as well as extremely windy locations, it even thrives in areas with poor soil. 'Flaky Juniper' is perfectly suited for locations where a nice ground-hugging variety can be shown off or it can help showcase taller, more colorful garden varieties, ideally placed in a rock garden or embankment.
