Berberis ‘Maria’ is a beautiful cultivar and an easy fit in just about any garden display. These lovely Japanese Barberry shrubs are easy to care for and manage and make great border or specimen plants. The upright stems carry bright, golden-yellow leaves throughout the Spring and Summer months before gaining hues of orange and red come Autumn. A great choice to add some brightness and colour to any area.

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. A hardy and cold tolerant species that is generally low maintenance. Requires minimal pruning and should not grow out of control. Cut older stems to allow fresh growth.
