Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Evergreen foliage with dark green leaves, brick-red buds in autumn bloom into pink/white flowers in late winter
Height & Spread: Grows to around 2.5m tall, spreads to roughly 2.5m wide.
Period of Interest: Year-round interest with Winter flowering. Dense, dark green foliage beneath clusters of deep red flower buds in Autumn. Small, slightly fragrant pale pink flowers emerge in mid-Winter until Spring followed by dark blue berries.
Plant Advice: Plant in moist, well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Grows well in most positions under full sun or shaded. May require some care from more extreme heat or cold.
Viburnum 'Lisarose' is a dense, bushy, evergreen shrub that features dark green leaves and colourful flowers that bloom later in the year. The first buds begin to form in early autumn when the temperature begins to drop, these flower buds turn brick-red before blooming from rounded clusters into small pink and white flowers, these flower prolifically from mid-winter to mid-spring, quickly followed by some dark blue berries.
A hardy variety, it is suited to all soil types so long as it is well-drained, and it will equally thrive in either exposed or sheltered positions in the garden.
