Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Compact, clump-forming herbaceous perennial shrub with large, lobed, glossy green leaves turning to deep red. Clusters of tiny pink flowers from Spring.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 0.1 – 0.5m.
Period of Interest: Spring to Autumn foliage interest. Conical spikes of tiny white and pink flowers appearing above the foliage from Spring through to early Summer.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Keep in partial Sun or full shade. Avoid waterlogged soil, especially during Winter.
An interesting variety which is perfect for smaller gardens and grows well in shaded positions. The Tiarella ‘Pink Skyrocket’ or Foamflower is a beautiful perennial shrub with vibrant, eye-catching foliage. The leaves are a large, deeply lobed or cut, glossy mid-green turning to bronze-red under sun or a deep red in shaded areas. The flowers bloom on stems above the foliage as conical clusters of pale pink and white from Spring.
Plant in cool, moist, humus-rich, well-drained soils and keep in partial sun or full shade. Leaf colour dependent on exposure to sunlight. Keep soil cool through regular watering in warmer periods. Avoid waterlogging, especially during Winter. Requires a sheltered position and protection from cold and frost.
